Recognise Winter Run 4’s broad loop
From the start, go toward the top of the map as the road drifts slightly right. A long upper-right arc opens outward, then the route returns down the far right, turns through the lower-right corner and comes back from below the start on the left. It is more open than Forest Passage, allowing you to look ahead before accelerating.
The road is flat, 15 metres wide and rated easy. On this site, Winter Run 1 means Snowfield Sprint and Winter Run 4 means Ice Lake Loop. The Track Wiki and game show consistent names and numbers; use those to find the route rather than assuming another game’s numbering matches it.
Practise acceleration and release on the opening
Use normal throttle to get moving, then try nitro while your direction is stable. Release it before the far upper-right curve and watch whether the car can still follow the road. A first lap entirely without boost gives you a useful personal baseline.
A wider road provides correction room but still needs exit awareness. Holding steering throughout the far curve can turn too much. Try several short presses, gradually following the changing arc, as an introductory approach.
Avoid one abrupt turn across the right return
After coming down the far right, the road turns toward the lower left and the crosswise return. Finish the current directional change before looking to the next bend; do not turn sharply toward the start too early. The map helps locate the return, but all three checkpoints still require following the road.
Near the final return, release steering and check alignment with the departure road before accelerating across the line. A nearby finish is not a reason to cross open ground. Missing a checkpoint prevents the expected full-lap finish.
Does the snow make the car more slippery?
Winter tracks have snowy scenery but use the same road-control rules, without a separate ice-slip mechanic. The lake and snowy trees are scenery, not a reason you must drift or choose special tyres.
Stay on the road, release throttle in time and control the exit. Leaving the road affects speed. Going too far away or staying outside too long returns you to the last checkpoint and adds three seconds, just as on summer routes.
Use three laps to assess consistency
Finish lap one without nitro. On the next, use only a short boost after the opening direction is steady. On the third, change only when you release throttle on the far-right return. Keep the same mode and car, and compare time, penalties and sudden steering corrections.
Once you avoid extra penalties, try short exit acceleration on the return and compare it with your saved personal best. For another winter route, choose Winter Run 2 Snowpine Forest in the Track Wiki. For a flat acceleration comparison, read the Summer 2 Coastal Sprint guide.

Read the obstacle, then choose a clear side
Orange markers on the map show obstacles. The table lists their occupied road sides in driving order. Left and right are relative to your driving direction. Learn the open lane first, then try increasing your speed.
The same track has the same number of obstacles in the same positions on every attempt. Solo driving and every system strength level use this layout, so routes and lap times can be compared fairly. system strength changes the opponent’s driving speed.
| Distance from the start | Occupied side | Clear passing side |
|---|---|---|
| About 55 m | Left | Right |
| About 174 m | Right | Left |
| About 660 m | Left | Right |
| About 787 m | Left | Right |
| About 917 m | Left | Right |
A small discovery on the winter route
On Winter Run 4, look for a small detail beside the track that differs from its surroundings. Take a slower observation lap while learning the route. The game will tell you when you discover an Easter egg.
Discoveries are saved in your collection on this device. After finishing, you can display them on a downloadable scorecard and share it. Easter eggs are keepsakes: they do not change lap time, score, nitro or car speed. Every player has the same opportunity to find them.
Return to the track and practise one skill
Keep the same track and mode, change one action, and see whether your next lap is steadier. If you need help, describe the bend and your controls in the driver comments.
