How to play PolyTrack: corners and acceleration
Learn an easy track first, then build up your speed. A few simple controls let you focus on enjoying every lap.
Ease off before a bend, accelerate on the exit
In PolyTrack, use W / ↑ to accelerate, S / ↓ to brake and A D / ← → to steer. Keep braking at a stop to reverse. Staying off-road too long returns you to the last checkpoint with a 3-second penalty.
Save your nitro for the right straight
Hold W or Up to accelerate, then hold Shift or Space for nitro. On mobile, hold the lightning button to accelerate and boost. Drive through cyan nitro canisters to refill; restarting a lap restores them.
Pause and try again
Press Esc / P to pause, R / Enter to restart. Leaving the game or hiding the page pauses it automatically; select Resume when you return.
Find your favorite car
The PolyTrack garage offers six cars with body, accent and wheel colors to choose from. Drag to inspect your car, then take it for a lap.
Build a track
Bring your ideas to life in the PolyTrack builder
Use the PolyTrack editor to build and test tracks free online: add 4–32 points, adjust the road width and gentle hills, then choose your scenery. It supports closed circuits; vertical loops, disconnected jumps and crossing bridges are not supported.
Up to 30 custom tracks appear on this device. Export files to back them up or share them; imported routes are checked before you drive.
Your latest 100 completed races and best lap times are saved on this device. Download a result card or copy a built-in track challenge link to share with friends.

Yes, with touch driving buttons. Landscape or fullscreen makes the track easier to see. Your device needs browser 3D support, and performance varies by device.
Does PolyTrack have a public leaderboard?

Can I save PolyTrack to the cloud and continue on another device?
Yes. Sign in by email, choose progress, car appearance or custom tracks, then select Sync now. It retrieves cloud saves, merges local records and saves selected changes. Repeat with the same email on another device. Automatic sync is optional; signing in or commenting does not upload game data.
Manage cloud saves →Can I restore PolyTrack records after clearing browser data?
Uploaded cloud records remain available for download and merge after signing in to the same account. File restore also requires sign-in and merges selected progress and tracks, without uploading or applying backup colors. Records without upload or backup cannot be recovered. Sound, language and controls remain on the device.
